Construction Health and Safety Specialist

In our efforts to expand our business and achieve our continuous improvement goal where safety is concerned, we are looking to add additional safety programs to our company.  To help us reach this goal, we would like add the position of Construction Health and Safety Specialist.  This individual would be responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating the safety and occupational health component of personnel, materials, equipment, and environments to achieve safety effectiveness for the company.

The position requires:

Extensive experience in the construction industry. It would be especially helpful to have experience within large plant atmospheres.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to train employees in all phases of safety and occupational health.

Organizational  skills to set up safety training programs and policies, customer presentations of the corporate safety program and policies, safety incentive programs and maintaining company safety statistics.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
