The upgraded steel truss was placed between Bridgeport Quarry and Forty Corners Trailheads in Massillon. The structure is 63 ft. long and 10 ft. wide, replacing a metal open grate bridge. The new bridge will allow hikers, pets, and bikers two lanes to pass and say hello as they travel north and south through western Stark County and the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. In accordance with ordinance 543.11 the personal use of drones and aerial cameras on Stark County Park District premises are prohibited.
